I believe several people had voltage bleed through the FIC6 with the ultragauge installed. I'm not sure how exactly... I also read people had trouble tuning with the ultragauge IIRC with thing acting erratic. I assume its because the UG taps into things the SG2 does not...

    A thing or two...
The PLX gauge I put in my truck is digital and displays inhg for vacuum. The factory gauge in my WRX displays PSI for vacuum.

The ultragauge just plugs into the OBD2 port like the scangauge.

Yes but I'm thinking the ultragauge is using more/different pins than the SC2 I dunno though.

I have an ultragauge in my truck, but I've never paid attention to how many pins are in the connector that plugs into the obd2 port.

I'll snap a pic tomorrow or this weekend if I don't forget.

I don't know bro. My pen is pretty big.

As for the other one, I'm hung like a tuna can. 1.5" long and 4" across. I can't hit bottom, but I'll split you in half. :ohsnap:

I have heard of other people having strange issues related to the Ultragauge, from others besides Brice, as well. Few and far between though. I have had them without issue though.

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
I had a scan gauge and when I installed the FIC-6, I had some major issues. I can't remember what they were, I'll have to dig it up in my build.

You need to tune the BOV spring. I think there is a way to adjust it. You shouldn't be dumping boost like that. Its not a bad thing perse, but everytime you left of the gas you lose all your boost and have to build it back up which can affect performance. If you have a manual trans, you will lose all your boost between each shift.

If I'm correct your BOV should close under boost then open under the sudden vacuum?

EDIT: I meant bov not wastegate for those who saw that :D
