    I have had small piece of brass mess up operation of firearms, one of the weirdest was an sks where a piece of brass got stuck under the bolt and it would fire but the second shot wouldnt lock into position. I finally noticed a piece of brass and had to remove it with my knife after that it worked fine.

    Thank you, I was aware of it. It was more making a statement for those that may not have been aware how long it's been

    So a little update on Caligula's Obsessive Compulsive AR Build.

    I took it to Addax Tactical in San Fernando. Tiny shop but very nice guys there. Their gunsmith pointed out that this thing was not maintained at all, and probably had over 1000 put through it. The barrel pin holes were not a concern for him as much as the mangled barrel nut, he said it looks like they did not have the right tool, probably hammered it in place. Also he thinks the AAL muzzle device was cracked during pinning and rewelded. @Polymerhead it looks like you called this earlier.

    Their gunsmith said if anything, he could tear down the upper, check and reinstall everything, replace barrel nut and check headspace. They would charge about $80 for this. Im debating whether I should demand reimbursement for that from Choi in lieu of just refunding the upper. I would have no problem finding his address with the crumb trail hes left online, and Im considering small claims court if he continues to refuse to communicate.

    @Sleipnir @Old Marine Cal
    I contacted one of the admins on Calguns, as they advise to do that first when there is a marketplace dispute. I gave him all the info, and he said it was fine to post up the following in his thread.

    Well written thread, responded on caalguns.

    What he doesn't realize , the gun community in California is not that huge.
    He is committing suicide by not making this right.

    I have bought two guns from there
    Both were straight up guys who let me field strip them.
    My M&P shield, I actually fired.

    Hope this guy makes it right, but I will remember him, never buy anything from him.

    You wont fucking believe this. One of the lower moderators on Calguns just deleted the post i made and removed the negative feedback i had made to the Choi guy. I messaged the Admin i had been corresponding with, i have no idea why he would do this.

    Anything else you want to add from your description regarding the transaction?

    I've deleted your feedback and posts temporarily while we take a look at it.

    Please feel free to forward any PMs or correspondence here or to rkt88edmo@gmail.com

    Probably just waiting to see if they can get the other guys side of the story. Same thing happens here on TW all the time too. Threads get temporarily locked until mods can confirm douchebaggery and then the unlock them and let shit hit the fan. I wouldn't worry. If the guy is as shady as he seems the posts will be back in no time.

    Very true. I'm not familiar with that forum, but maybe they don't have the capability to lock threads? Either way TW has the best mods ever so it wouldn't surprise me that theirs don't measure up.
