@dirty deeds Any sliders are better than body damage repair. Get a kick out, square tube if you can.

May be interested. I want that bumper! Spent slider bux on gears. So winch bux will go for sliders (soon) Bumper MAY have to wait until next years bonus check unless I can convince Sandy she doesn't want a new car.

Or, dip into savings. (May happen....I want to get the truck done before it hits the million mile mark)

On a positive note....Drove in to work this morning with no noise, leaks, vibrations, or problems with rear gear swap. 29 miles @ almost 80 mph.

Checked before hand with IR thermometer, then checked this morning as I got to work. No added heat, so that's good!

Went and got my oil changed at Toyota South today. Drove a new TRDOR auto... it shuddered and literally banged into gear from a stop.... This was after me voicing my concern about the new auto to the salesman who told me they were excellent transmissions and urged me to drive it. He apologized. They had these bad sumbitches around back and a 40 series ambulance in the service bay! 20170428_121209.jpg 20170428_121136.jpg

Every time I'm at Toyota South I spend most the time eye fooking, from a safe distance, the blue FJ 40 they have in the showroom.

Yeah, that thing is beautiful. There was a brand new white TRD Pro parked right by the main entrance, those trucks are impressive in person. The seats are killer. They just had gotten done doing prep on it and were waiting for the new owner to come pick it up. I think he said the owner was a TMMK employee or that the last one they ordered was for a TMMK employee, can't remember which. I'd assume they get a great discount.

There is a silver FJ over where they park the used trucks, it looks like it has alot of stuff done to it. I meant to drive over there when I left to see what all it had but forgot. They have an insane amount of Tacomas and Tundras on the lot.

Yeah they had a desert tan one there a couple months ago that I'd see every day when I'd drive by. I made myself not stop because I would have another payment if I did.

I love that color, the off-road I drove today was Quicksand, they had a 6MT sport in Quicksand as well. I like it because it's never dirty!

Thats cool tight there. Have you seen the resto-mod Broncos by Icon? Really sharp, even for a Ferd.

Speaking of those. I've not gotten up close to it but I have seen on multiple occasions a dark gray Bronco that either is or looks identical to the Icon Bronco around Richmond. I doubt it is because central Kentucky isn't exactly a hot bed for $100k toys but it's possible I guess. If I see it out again this summer I will stop and see if there are any lizards or logos on it. Even if it's not it's still the baddest old Bronco I've ever seen.

My local dealer is changing hands. Haven't seen a vehicle get sold in a month!

The TX and PreRunner tacos are still sitting in the same spot they were when the dealer was open normal hours. They've cut way back on hours for some reason, only service dept is still operating as usual.

It's called Fannin Toyota in Ashland, KY

Wanna say the new owner starts with 'S', coming from southern KY somewhere, supposedly owns a bunch of dealerships.
You central/southern fellas know who it may be?

Steve Gates possibly? I wouldn't think it would be him though since all his lots are in Richmond/Lexington. Completely possible though. He's a great guy, I've spoken to him numerous times and he really has a passion for Toyota's even though he owns 4 or 5 different brand lots. All of the classic Landcruisers I posted earlier are his and supposedly what he has at his home will make grown men cry.
