Got them. @stroM- has his set up. They are ok. Worth what you pay for them, some things could be better, but good for the price.

Well, that's about it for desert season. Last trip was borderline too warm to be fully enjoyable during the day. :(

Hopefully find the time to get up into higher elevations to escape the heat during the summer.

Yeah. Anza was about 97 during the day. Luckily we were in that cove and had tons of shade. We carried an EZ up in each truck throughout the day so when we stopped to shoot we could set it up haha.

I'm assuming you were outside of the state park when shooting?

We stopped only once haha. I'll have video and more pics soon! None of us are incredible photographers or videographers, but we have about 60 gigs of pics and video from the weekend between us!

I feel like I'm totally backwards from you guys the snow is finally gone enough to enjoy the low elevation trails again... anything mid to alpine level is still burried in feet of snow and the high altitude deserts here are still below freezing. If it's a sunny day you might get above 5 lol

Same up here. It's just now getting warm enough (staying above freezing at night) that my wife is willing to go out camping. A week or two more and all the smaller lakes and ponds I like to camp at and fish should be broken up enough to get my canoe out and do some fishing.

Desert being hot is more of a problem at night for me than day time. I can deal with high heat while I'm awake, not when I'm trying to sleep in a tent that turns into an oven

Great to know... Im hoping I can make it work off of a 12v power source. I can deal with the batteries since I always have a bunch for other things... Amazon basic batteries are "good enough" it seems.
