I could not figure out how to tell my HP user-fiendish software to scan letter and not legal size, but anyway, here it is.

    I use a piece of 2x8.
It can fit ahead of the wheels for an about 1-foot front compartment, or between the wheels and the side pockets for an about 2.5 foot rear compartment.

The factory bed divider fits underneath the trifold cover from Extang.

Is it a hard tip or soft top? Do u take the tie down rail system off to fit the tonneau rails?

I have a soft top version that needs no bed rail modifications. Not sure about the hard top versions but you can research them here:

I ended up getting the bakflip mx4 so you mount those rails for the tonneau then the Tacomas sliding rails under those. Will the bed divider still fit?

Used 3/4 plywood channel and 3/4 pine wood . Don't use covers for storage pocket so added one in center bolts also .

No money, all went to truck...
I have bed mat and it's awesome. things don't slide but will roll. I had a gallon of milk in back and it rolled and then popped open. Imagine the mess.

I bought one of those cargo mesh hammocks. works great.

Couldn't agree more, except I found one on Craig's list for 60.00. Probably the single most useful "bolt on" item I bought for the truck. The bed mat is a close second.

I have this same divider from a 2012 Tacoma. Just purchased a 2017 TRD OR. Anyone know what attachments I need to make this work in my truck? It did not come out the end pieces to mount.
Also, would anyone know if the cargo divider will work with the BakFlip MX 4 tonneau cover?

I’m making this bed divider for my dad for Christmas (thanks for the great idea!) but lost the dimensions I hastily scribbled down... how long should I make the plywood channel? And what is the distance between the bolts?
    Thanks!

Yep, I've got one of those bins too. I just strap it down to the rear tie downs.
