So I bought my SR5 DCLB back in March and it came with a spacer lift. It's still sitting on stock suspension otherwise. Rear is stock as well, with a 3+1 add a leaf (Not sure if that's the TSB or not).

Driver side area is developing a crack in the rubber part under the spacer. I've got the necessary tools and I'm pretty competent with a wrench, so should I just replace that piece, or save up some cash for some 5100's, coils, and leaf packs and UCA's? lol. Despite how taboo spacers are, I don't really intend to go wheeling much and the ride really isn't that bad as the truck sits. Not currently experiencing alignment issues as well. After riding in my old z71 Tahoe, the taco rides like a luxury car.

What do you guys think? I've been putting off getting a new suspension because even with looking at numerous threads, I'm confused as hell on whether to put the 5100's on .85" or 1.75" setting paired with (name your brand) coils. Gonna hit up Head Strong Off Road to clear things up when they're done moving.

Pic of the driver side so everyone knows what the cracks are:

If I change anything, I'm pretty happy with how the truck sits. I want to do my best to keep it at its current ride height, while correcting some of the driver side lean. Passenger side sits at 37.5-38.5" front to rear, from bottom of center fender flare to ground, and 37-37.5" on the the driver side.

Shit. Shouldn't that spacer be above the shock top plate?

    Unless it's a preload spacer

No clue. Looks like I'm going to need to do a suspension job again based on this reply. lol. I hate not knowing if a job isn't done right. Only time I know if it's done correctly is if I do it. Bummer, was planning to do an audio upgrade when the weather gets better.

I think you're fine... I think the cracked rubber "spacer" should be above the metal spacer, but if it's riding ok I doubt you'll have any issues. Truck looks great!

I removed a 1.25" coil spacer and installed the ride height adjustable Bilstien 5100's set at 1.75" first, but I dropped it to .80 hoping the needle bearing would quiet down. (Still stock coil springs) It didn't work, so if I decide to keep the truck, I will have to do the ECGS bearing replacement. Ride quality is about the same, pretty good actually.

Thanks for all the advice, everyone. Decisions made pending info from Headstrong, once they're done moving. Looks like i'll be getting a set of 5100's and some uca's in the future.

Hey guys, got lucky and found a new set of tsb springs and paired them with a progressive add a leaf. Seems that the 2 lower leafs arent centered after tightening the centering pin. Should the longer end of the leaf point to the front or rear of the leaf pack?
