Finished with a little bit of daylight left. Just got done putting all the tools and whatnot up. Rub at full passenger still which is because of the alignment being messed up from when we did the ball joints, so Hardrock is a no go unless I drive up there super early and get an alignment done at a tire kingdom near there. :boom:

    The rubbing spot

Cleaned up cmc and pinch weld

Ball joint spacers and lift blocks, am I doing it right?
Yes, well close. I called on this one. It's a running good motor, just a distributer model not the coil pack version that I would like to use. These are a little more difficult to swap.

thanks for posting it, keep em coming...

Just finishing up the OME suspension upgrade. Does anyone have a recommendation for 4 wheel alignment in the Lakeland area? Lakeland Toyota has a coupon for $59.95, which sounds pretty good. I like to support the local independents though.

Also time for a front brake job. I have a 2006 TRD OR, and it looks like the rotors are 133mm or almost 13". Hard to measure as the rotors are still on the truck. 132mm does match the TRD rotor spec ( https://trdparts4u.toyotaofdallas.c...ma&modelyear=2006&catalogid=2&catalogname=TRD Performance&idCategory=2162 )

Does anyone have a recommendation for a place around Lakeland that does rotor turning? Further recommendations on pads/rotor upgrades welcomed.

That's supposed to be 332mm... stupid metrics and lack of coffee

I do not since I am out here in Tampa but from what I remember when Wes got his done at Tim's he went to Tire Kingdom. Good stuff on getting the OME upgrade! Have you looked at getting new rotors?

I have yet to find a place in Lakeland that knows how to align a vehicle. I've been to b&l, tire kingdom, and Firestone, and none of them did anything but adjust the toe.

I have had good luck with havendale frame and axle in auburndale. It's been years since I've been there though.

I forgot the 2.4 liter was even a thing  lol. For some reason I thought they went straight from the 22RE to the 2.7

Toyota to turn rotors, I have duralast gold pads and gold rotors. For alignments I go to tirekingdom.
