Has anyone added 3m or similar product to the thin windsheild on these tacomas?

Just curious if its worth the cost and if its been done yet with the "Tacoma"
Would it make it that much better!?

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
While it may sound like a good idea, I don't think it would work very well. This stuff is very soft and if there is any dust, dirt or small debris on the windshield, the wipers would just scratch it over time. Just my thought on it tho.

Yup. After a few weeks of wiper use you wouldn't be able to see out your front window.

Thx for the input guys, i just saw a bunch of videos where it had been installed on sports cars etc. Made it seem like a pretty good option to protect these thin windshields.
