    Haha, sorry, brah. If you'd put my ass to work, I'd have stroked out and missed Hardrock. Still recovering from being sick so my stamina, crappy as it normally is, still isn't back to normal. Next time, I'll try to be there for ya...like if you want to try to clean up the cut edges of your fenders. I have a 90* grinder with a rotary file and a sanding disc that would probably smooth them out. You'd have to come over here to do it though since my compressor won't keep up with the 90* so your little one won't have a prayer. ;)

    Finished with a little bit of daylight left. Just got done putting all the tools and whatnot up. Rub at full passenger still which is because of the alignment being messed up from when we did the ball joints, so Hardrock is a no go unless I drive up there super early and get an alignment done at a tire kingdom near there. :boom:

    I agree. It looks way better than those stock wheels. Not especially convinced that an alignment is gonna cure that rubbing though. I don't see an alignment moving it that much and if it's rubbing now at ride height, it's gonna be worse when compressed. You may have to get wheels with more backspacing. IIRC, those wheels have 3.75" BS. You may need to get a set with 4" or 4.25" BS if you can fit them without hitting your UCAs. That will move the tire away from the firewall when turned.

    Could be wrong though. It's been known to happen. :D

    It blows that you're not gonna make Hardrock. Yer supposed to get the alignment taken care of before you fit the new tars. :smack: Ya know, you could always go back out there and slap the old tars on for one more run...:D

    Could you take a grinder to that weld to try and get it down a bit more? I rub on my CMC full driver but seeing how much you cut out I'm thinking dang I can cut out more and be safe.

    I still don't see it giving him a lot more clearance, especially when stuffed. Like I said though, I could be wrong. I'm dubious as to whether the average TK wrench jockey would know how to deal with those adjustable UCAs anyway. :D
