makes me wish I had the time and ambition to do something that slick. Nice setup.

Nowadays I have to be happy with solid, effective and simple. I never saw what was going to happen to my time with our 6 and 8 year old children stage.

You might like it with bigger tires. Just an observation. Is that your ride?

Here's mine again, with some newer mods. Purchased a 30 dollar 80's thule rack off CL and customized it to fit the cap. Turned out much nicer than I would have anticipated. Going to rig up a momentary NC switch off the rear glass with LED light strips on the ceiling of the cap. Hopefully sometime next week.

Would y'all suggest taking it to my local LEER dealer to have them install new weather stripping?

keep us updated on that cap roof lighting project, where are you bringing in power for that? I was thinking of add a fuse?

    Thanks,
    Pete

I'd consider picking up some 1" wide weather stripping that has an adhesive on one side that you can stick to the underside of the cap.

Perfect fit and color match, did you have that painted to match your truck or was it incidentally the same color?

Nope I lucked out and it was already color matched. I've been looking for almost a year.

Just undoing the mounting screws and lifting the cap up enough to stick the weatherstripping on there?

yes, pick the cap off the truck and set it down on a couple of sawhorses or chairs or something. Attach some good neoprene or vinyl foam generic weather stripping to the underside of the cap and set it back on the truck. I cleaned the contact point on the cap good where the adhesive was intended to stick.

Thanks. Yeah it rained hard here for quite a while so there's a little bit of water that came in, but it looked like mainly at the rear and slight water running down the sides of the bed. I'll have to look when the sun comes out
