Im broke and most certainly do NOT have any funds whatsoever for such an endeavor at the moment. BUT for research, I would like to know what i should get as an option when the time comes.

96 Ext cab 2.7 manual. Just stepped up to 265/75/16 ST Maxx tires. The future plans are OME 882, Dakar leaf pack, RelentelessFab front and rear bumper with tire swingout.

I think 4.56 would be my best bet since im a complete offroad noob. I figure since i dont want to pay twice a locker is a good idea. I dont know what brand for electronic locker i should get. my truck doesnt have manual hubs afaik (no knob thingies in the middle of the hub)

hell i dont even know how to get it into 4wd correctly. too afraid of blowing something up. i just wanna do it right the first time

4wd is easy. Lock the hubs. Pull the leveler of the Tcase into 4wd. You can do this at any time up to 50mph. To go 4Lo. You MUST stop. Then shift the tcase to 4lo with the tranny in neutral.

4.56 would be good. 4.88s maybe if you wanna get 33s at some point.

Typically ECGS doesn't do GB on assembled 3rds. I'm not banking on it. Im going for just the parts.

I'm interested; you can throw me down as a maybe. I'm curious to see what pricing looks like and I still don’t know if 4.56 or 4.88s are the ticket for me. Also would look at front ARB. So F/R 4:56 or 4:88 and front ARB

Would be in depending on price, time to go to 4.56s front and rear, not sure I can justify a locker yet though as much as I want to

    A few.
:lalala: I shouldn't be looking at this... But with a knee surgery in the near future, my truck will be my main source of recreation this summer. (and Ilive an hour and a half from Moab these days) :lalala: I may be interested in 4.56's or 4.88's depending on $$$. Leaning towards .56 with my tire size, and daily driver status.
