that they are idiots and not to have service from them.

Goons will probably get the wrong parts or just over torque it again like a moron.

A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!
We'll see -- I'll call them Mon. to see when they expect the parts to be in? That will trigger another person to check the status of the order --and let's wait and see what they say. If he lied to me he will have to answer to his boss as I will complain if I was given false info. I would rather be told "I don't know" rather than being fed BS!

So we have people who aren't on the list with leaks, and people who are on the list with none.

Did they identify the culprit wrong for this issue?

If your truck is still under warranty but not on the recall list, so what... Nut up and take it in and tell them to fix that leaky shit... It's under warranty and should not be leaking!!!

FYI, I'm pretty sure this would be covered by the standard extended powertrain warranty.

Just cause your deal said one thing, doesn't mean his dealer isn't ordering the parts. If I was a dealer and just learned of this, I too would order parts as I would expect more folks to be rolling in.

Why must folks be so negative? Why must we jump to they suck mode?

Haha I've been quietly watching TW for years. I'm thinking you already know the answer to that.

Hopefully the static on this thread stays low, so when real news and updates come out on this issue we don't have to read through 30 pages of nothing. Mechanically speaking, this should be a pretty straight remedy once they finally nail the source of the issue I'd imagine, right?
