Yeah, unfortunately after getting the tent mounted and opened up finally I found some damage from shipping. Nothing major but the ladder mount was bent, a few small holes in the fabric and the aluminum base is folded up a tint bit in one corner. Sent a couple emails out to REI and Tepui so hopefully I can get it cleared up pretty quick though.

Damn thats too bad. Did you message Boxrocket on here? Hes always been great with customer service, but that sounds like more of an REI deal than Tepui overall. Could be wrong though

I look forward to your thoughts on the tent once you've had it on a few outings

From the shipping label it looked like it went through a couple REI shipping hubs so they got the nasty gram. I'm more hoping Tepui can just help with a patch or something on the fabric or maybe they can get REI to hook me up with some sheets or a weather hood

Wouldn't recommend taking the GX up? My buddy invited me next weekend, but I think I may just ride with him.

I have skids/sliders/locker but would prefer not to destroy the body

Did Andrew not go? Will a big 80 series fit?
I got the spanners for the valving, but nothing for the preload. The instructions said to get ~2" of lift I should adjust the preload from 20mm to 10mm since I don't have bumper/winch. I did a little UNDER 10mm and was still sitting at just over 3" in the front, and just over 4" in the rear.

I'm downloading a file recovery program right now... I put my SD card into my reader and it's showing as needing formatted. RIP all the install photos I took.

I probably wouldn't. You could do the EZ valley connector trail and one other mud trail but they aren't very long so not sure it would be worth it. I hit my skid on the gate keeper but Im sure that could have been avoided.
Width isn't much of a problem, but length is. DCLB is guaranteed body damage.
Andrew couldn't go but it would fit.

Guessing most know this already but I was up North fork road and the wash out is pretty bad. The road is undercut and getting worse. It was after dark when I was there and I didnt feel like giving it a try to get across. Motorcycle no worries, truck eh...

I just don't have the time to go pick it up anytime soon and my buddy whose shop it would go in is off the grid for a few days.

I imagine it'll sell by the time he's back.

    Well, it's a $62.50 risk, if you're down.

I'd go halfsies if I could have access to it :)
