    Doesn't really matter for the inlet. As long as it fits within the contraints of where you install it.

    How are you datalogging the fuel?

    Are you running a scan guage? Will a scan guage show the engine leaning
    out? Pinging? Or a direction like not enough fuel pressure from fuel pump,
    or injections to small?
    Does a scam guage show air to fuel ratio?

    I have an UltraGauge Blue that I'm using. It basically can read the same perameters as a Scangauge. The won't read AFR's but will read long term and short term fuel trims. You'll need to be able to read those to tune in closed loop. It just uses the stock sensors so it won't tell you if you're pinging either. In order to read AFR you'll need a wideband like AEM, Innovate or PLX. For knock you would need an EMS that cAn log knock. I've read of some people doing that with a Megasquirt and a GM knock sensor.

    Ok thanks, I will start with replacing my plugs with IK22 5310 and see if the lugging ping goes away and then maybe the injectors later to 350 size.

    I wish I knew the answer to either of your questions. It goes 92mph in the 1000' which I've estimated 280whp. (3650lbs with me) I will get on a dyno someday...

    That's my point right there. To many unknowns to safely say that your pump is actually good enough for the demand you are giving it.

    This is why a blanket statement should be taken with a grain of salt, versus what the numbers state.

    You're right. 800' here by the way. I back my claims by anecdotal evidence and Others running similar numbers and power seem to say stocker is fine at these power levels. I might totally be out of headroom too I just have no idea.

    Just to be clear, I am not trying to pick on you. Just realize, that duty cycles don't equate to anecdotal evidence.

    Peace of mind from a fuel pump upgrade, after already investing a few thousand, is a lot better than replacing a failed engine.

    Ha it's all good. I hadn't realized how anecdotal my evidence was but I'd hate to blow up somebody's truck, esp the famous 500k S/C SCSB truck this forum loves :)

    Put in the DENSO IK22 5310 plugs in this morning and the pinging is gone, unless I lug it really hard, so I'm good for now.
    Putting 9 sometimes 10 pounds out, kinda hard to take a photo of the guage and drive with full boost.
    Old plugs with 35,000 miles on them still looked great,
    I know I need to upgrade injectors and fuel pump if I want to keep the 2" pulley on

    Good call on the newer plugs. I'd still be willing to wager that your egt is pretty high. You really need some kind of fuel mods with a smaller pulley. Even a meth injection system at this point would be a great place to start. A simple devils own kit on a Hobbs switch is very cheap. Use your stock windshield reservoir

    I have their CMGS Autolearn which was $$$. It has autolearn feature, failsafe, and solenoid. I bought it when I was exclusively using meth injection as extra fuel for running 14psi. Also do not recommend that LOL. I would probably not buy this kit again. The kit is good but tedious to set up. I'd probably opt for a very simple devils own kit with a boost switch and a check valve setup which should be closer to $250.

    What boost are you running? getting ping at 9-10 pounds on load, I think I'm going back to the
    2.1 pulley as I had NO issues there. I think the 2" pulley will be a pain, and expensive to get tuned correctly,
    But wow what a lot more power the 2" pulley puts out. Got a gain of 2 more pounds of boost

    Honestly it's a big financial step to go to the smaller pulley. You really need an aftermarket ECU and additional fueling. Unless you're willing to spend the money necessary to keep your AFR and EGT happy, I'd go back to the 2.1 pulley. You'll still feel a nice power increase if you get a meth injection kit and spray blue fluid with a couple bottle of "heet" mixed in, even on the 2.1 pulley.

    Yea, I was thinking that last night, So I will look around for a water injection kit, ideally I would like
    one that has options for controls, like, on,off, rpm Option or boost option for when spray comes on
    and maybe a guage for air/ ratio if there is that available, because the truck runs great with the 2.1 pulley with no pinging, if the water injection stops working
    it would not put the engine in a dangerous place and I could option if I wanted to run the water injection
    system or not, does that sound correct? This water injection stuff is new to me,
    And I could experiment with the 2" pulley and a larger spay nozzle later
