    The old MTRs had a stickier/softer compound over the current MTRs. The old ones also performed quite a bit better as well. I've been reading that the STT Pros are basically just an all around better tire compared to the MTRs, and the wonderful part is that the STT Pros actually perform in snow. Unless Goodyear does something to change my mind, I'm switching to STT Pros when I need new tires.
