99 tacoma value?

Looking for advice on a 1999 Tacoma. Its a ext. cab 4x4 3.4 v6 5 speed trd with 121,000 miles. Timing has been replaced and the owner has maintenance records. The owner wanted $12,800 but is down to $10,000. Is this a fare price?

That's about what people ask around here. What people are actually paying is another question. For $10k, it better be pretty clean inside and out.

 

Its clean for the most part, has about a 2inch dent on the door and a tear in the arm rest but thats about it.

If you are sold on getting a first generation, the one you are referring to has low miles, which is hard to come by in a first generation Tacoma as old as this one. This means you might have to pay that price.

With that dent I wouldent be so happy at 10k that's a lot of money it should be clean
