I wouldn't mind waiting longer honestly, every time Jerry makes a diff skid he finds a particular part he can improve. I'll take mine dead last because I'm sure by then these things will be worthy of a showcase in the Smithsonian.

If the Turd Gen is first, does that mean the 1st Gen is last?!

No the 8.0" and 8.4" will be the same for all years it's just the 8.75" TRD off road and pro that will be for 16+ only.

Here is a unprovoked update on the skids don't want panties to bind ;)

The 8.0" final shell profile is complete I'm happy with how it sits on the diff with the drain plug just sticking past the skid. If you measure off the drain plug there is no loss in ground clearance at all. I'm going to offer this drain hole covered as well for those of you that don't mind pulling the skids off to change the gear oil and want that protected as well.

We have material coming tomorrow for cutting out clamps I don't have a good cut condition for .750" on the laser yet so i have to do more tweaking to get them to cut perfect.

But I will be cutting all the shells for the 8.0 and the 8.75" later this week so we can start production. I'm pretty sure the 8.4" Is the same as the 8.0 other then the drain plug Bering on the other side forbthe diff.

We also have a new product in the works that were launching in a few weeks after testing. Everyone that's in this batch of 30 will be offered a huge discount on it for the amount of time this whole process is taking.

@JLee I have a guess on the new product. Since I have a shackle flip it won't work for me...

We might cut an extra few with this batch that can be sold after all the orders are filled.
