    16 Tacoma XP Rockstar Package
Hello everyone, Back again!!! Yeah Yeah I've been away for a while. But just bought myself a 2016 Tacoma v6 with the Rockstar package w/12,500 miles on it, so 1st new/used truck I've had since 2010. But what I've noticed in the last couple of days is when I'm in cruise control and while I just start hitting a incline or a small hill the transmission downshifts until it gets back on flat ground or up the hill. But if I don't use cruise control and I just use constant foot pressure on the gas pedal it doesn't downshift. Now I know trucks and cars or different, but I owned a 2012 Toyota camary and I would put on cruise control and when it hit the incline or hill it would just roll up the hill and no downshifting. I've read other people that has the 2016 Tacoma's having tranny problems and theyre talking about TCB's and low tranny fluids, but I couldn't find anything on the problem with downshifting while in cruise control going up a hill or incline. Any thoughts out there that I can start thinking about. Good to be back!

Normal. Mine does that with no weight in the bed, operates properly with some weight in the bed. Makes sense, being a truck and all.
