I finally settled on the ARB front bumper for my truck. Having seen it in person, I dig it.

The question I have is, what are you guys cutting the stock bumper cover with? Has anyone taken the cover to a body shop or similar to have it cut? I'm good at installing stuff and taking things apart, but free handing a sawzall is definitely not one of my stronger skills ;)

Has anyone ordered a base(no fender flare) bumper cover and cut it? I thought about going this route as well. Not really to save the stock bumper as it's pretty worthless and will be trashed, but I've seen some rigs where the holes for the fender flare clips on the stock cover are visible after install.

I would use a dremel and go very slow and take your time, the slower you cut plastic the cleaner it comes out, if you rush you heat up the plastic and get funky results

I would use your stock bumper because I think the paint match would look best all said and done

It is possible the wholes you are describing are people who has also removed the fender flares??

For the install of the ARB it appears the portion of the flares that's attached to the front bumper is removed exposing the holes. It's probably not an issue the more I think about it.

Any suggestions on the cutting tool for the Dremel? Cut off wheel or something else?

Jig (Saber) saw with tape on the sole plate and the bumper? That's what ARB uses in the installation instructions...
