Or if you have someone you know that does 3d printing you could get a CAD of our trucks, and send the outside through a 3d printer and add it to whatever model frame and wheels you can find to fit the shell.

There are no 3D CAD drawings of our trucks. Someone here asked a while ago. Best you could do is scan one of the matchbox ones but then again, you already have one so why bother?

Don't get me wrong, if there was a CAD scan/file of just the outside of a 2nd gen it would be sweet, but getting there unfortunately isn't really practical.

However, modding the little toy I'm going to get next week from today's ebay purchase will be a fun little side project. I bet there are plenty of lift options, but I wonder if 33mil wheels will fit without having to xacto the wheel wells...?

Will you be going the "skinny" 33 route? Could probably get away with less trimming if so.

Tough choice. Also, I'll have to decide if printed out onto sticker paper Methods or SCS wheels will look good...
I guess it depends on the type of 4-wheeling I'll be doing on my desk at work over stacks of paper and pens/pencils or if I decide to keep it a computer top queen.

    Decisions, decisions...

True. i couldnt find any 2nd gen but i did find a first gen but it would be very expensive for use unless someone was going to make a lot of 3d models.

0402161812.jpg A plastic model may be your best bet. A company called Meng makes several that are Toyota trucks. There's another company called Aoshima that makes a decent Toyota pickup
