Hey man. Fellow long islander here. Hate to jack the thread, not a potential buyer of these, but wanted to know: how did you get the fog light bezel off? Do they just click in and you pry them off and pop back on?

Hi Mike, behind the bumper there is a blue little plastic retainer clip that pretty much locks the two together, you pop it out/off and then the black bezel pretty much comes right off from the bumper skin!

@TacomaMike37 if you tried removing the bezel from the bumper from the outside you would snap the blue clip into two parts, the clip must be removed from the back side for the bezel to be removed from the bumper skin

I have a 2015 base truck, no fog lights. Are all trucks pre-wired/plug and play or would I need to wire these myself?

The base models are usually missing the fog light harness, requiring a fog light wiring kit.

do you know what is included in the kit? is the in cabin switch included??
everything I am finding online also includes the lights themselves as well in the kit for 12-15
for the 05-11 I see they sell the wire kit alone (switch included)

Since Toyota OEM 00016-35220 kits were discontinued, the kits now usually include cheap chinese fog lights that leak.

The wiring in the kits can still be used, but recommended are OEM fog lights like yours.
