Trying to make a list of people that might or might not want to do a meet of 5 lugs. I know we don't have many, but if we could get everyone involved we might be able to crash another meet together or make our own.

    Lets do this guys!

I have a 5-Lug 5MT V6 up in the East Bay Area that I’m restoring on the side. I DD my PreRunner 4x4 conversion.

Good luck getting me to drive it in any other gear besides 1st though. Haha.

When I show up at a get together it's sometimes just me but there are plenty. I think it has more to do with people who buy them are possibly less likely to do the kinds of mods that are most common(lifts, armor, racks, rtt, etc.) and if you don't do mods there's less likelyhood you'll survey this forum and find out about the meets. The few I have seen at meets have been more street modded. Those I see on the road are virtually all stock and look like inexpensive dd trucks. If you're planning on lifting a truck to begin with our 5-luggers aren't the best choice platform to start with even if all you're looking for is a mall rated wannabe. Not sayings it can't be done but rarer than hens' teeth is closer to the truth than not. My choice was intentional, I didn't want a lift, not even the stock difference the 6-lugs have so the mods I choose have different imperatives. This forum is a great source and the guys I've met are a great group.

I've been to 3 meets, one at the Santa Rosa Taqueria(yum), one in Newark at MJ's, and one at Littlesquirt's in Sacramento. There's always something on the todo list so I'd go to more if I could.
