There are several fight the gas tax websites with one actively going to have one of the parasites recalled. Now CA is looking to tax space travel... It's such a beautiful place to live but the clock is ticking on my departure.

 

Yes I am trying to get out of cali as well. over 400 to reg a tacoma is insane. If it goes up this for 18 I will not be happy.

I liked because there isn't a dislike. Not trying to shoot the messenger, just really pissed with what's going on. And there is also an initiative to raise property taxes under the guise of transportation fixes. These thieves are out of control.

I just wish there was some oversight for all this tax money. Feels like we the tax paying population gets to bail out the state every time they have a problem.

CA has plenty of money (5th largest economy) they just need some fiscal wisdom... IMHO.

Pipedream. I'd still vote for it. I get basically zero representation in our State Govt.

LA and SF (population centers) give about zero fucks to what we deal with here in rural county's.

We do get their money's though.

Maybe it's a trade off. I just believe we could be more fiscally wise in this state.

I do believe that Brown has done a good job fiscally particularly during the recession.

But the relatively new "fire tax" and now this gas tax is making me second guess that though.

 

taxation is theft. The government is full of crooks. state and fed. Some day people need to ban together and take back what is ours. Most people are to dumb and think government is a good thing that is the problem.

 

Are you talking about the 12cent gas tax and increase in veh reg fees that was just passed ?

 

I'm pretty sure you don't have to register as commercial if you run a camper shell, just go to the DMV.
