Has anyone installed Bilstein 6112's with 16 inch coils instead of the supplied 14 inchers? As a DCLB 4x4 with a steel bumper w/o winch up front I may need to order new coils anyways as the ones that come with the 6112s are 600lb spring rate. I figure I may as well order a longer coil and keep the preset at the bottom ring on the shock if that's possible. Would a 16 inch coil, with a 650lb coil rate provide too much lift? Could I get away with a 16 inch 600lb coil? Thanks for the help.

    Necro-bump.

I wonder if anyone has done this with success.

I think 600lb 16” coils might be the sweet spot with that kinda weight

I, unfortunately, never went for it. My 5100's are starting to wear out so maybe I'll revisit the idea though.
