    Good morning Tacoma owners!

Had a question about traction on the drag strip. I have a '14 TRD Sport with Auto LSD that only lets me spin 1 tire instead of both.

Is it easier to throw in a locker or find a scrap TRD off road and take the rear end from it?

Just trying to maximize the traction and launch off the line. Ultimate goal is to get into the 13's with the truck. I am at 14.3 now.

    Thank you for your answers

    Parts so far:

    TRD Supercharger w/stock pulley
    AFE Intake
    TRD Exhaust
    Drag Radials

Easiest thing to do would be to do brake boosted 4wd launches. Ive done it tons and its never harmed anything. So have many others. Not saying is good for anything, but it is another option.

If your truck is auto and 4x4, then what he said.^^^

If only 2wd, then a TruTrac LSD.

Change out the stock pully on your supercharger, headers, and have your engine tuned.

Ask this guy what he runs. You'd never break it. :D

only for the current AT's, not for the new 8.75 rear that the MT's have. within a couple years tho. they're being sold worldwide but it's a new piece, so Eaton and whoever will need a lot on the road before investing in R&D.
