Both my compass and auto dimming will not turn on. I recently had my windshield replaced a month ago. Checked a number of fuses and no luck finding issue. Also wondering if they plugged the plug in back of mirror upside down but I can't remove it to check. Maybe someone can tell me if my plug is upside down. Or any idea on certain fuses to check. 2017 Tacoma with tech package20170512_234507.jpg

That's what I thought Ram. I tried pushing down the top part of plug so that I can unplug it but can not, almost as if it's already pushed down. I'm worried about breaking it.

Maybe some of the pins aren't correctly in place and they forced it in. That can be the reason you can't move it

So after tinkering with the plug I got it off this morning. Found the plug to be bent and slightly cracked. Tested the pins and the blue and brown definitely getting proper voltage and the gray/black is the negative ground. Used my multimeter to find that with the bend the pins aren't reaching connection. So took off plug, super glued plug and awaiting the plug to dry. Will repost later after issue is fixed.

Good work man. I'm sorry I didn't post the pic before I got to work I woke up late and got here 20 min late. That's what I get for staying up past 3am lol. But I see you found the issue, good work.

I have to a repair myself. The stitching on the straps from one of the back seats came off now I can access the storage behind it. I need a wire hook to be able to open it. But I ordered nylon thread and plan on fixing it soon

I ended up not fixing issue as the superglue didn't hold. Ended up figuring out part number and ordering a new plug for $10. Should arrive Tuesday. Good luck with that strap Ram. Good thing it's just a strap that can be fabricated.
