Hello! New to the forum. Long time fan of Tacomas. Had a 92 hi lux with 300k on it when I sold it and have missed it ever since.
I joined up for a couple reasons. One being I'm looking for a bump in the right direction to purchase, and two is to see if a finalist in my search is worth it.
2011 TRD access cab 4x4 black
6spd, jbl, 400w outlet, locking diff, 60xxx mi, 22 grand from a dealer. Any thoughts?

Welcome! Do you have a picture? If the truck is clean and well taken care of than its a reasonable price.

Sounds like a decent price with that mileage. My 2011 has 116k on it.

That seems like a reasonable price based on the stats. When I bought my '07 I offered the full asking price only with all fees and taxes included, then I dropped the mic and left. They called me ten minutes later to tell me it's a deal.

Thank you everyone for your replies. I figured it was a decent price, and that's before the haggling process. The only thing I wish it has is a sport hood. Due to my online ignorance, I'm not able to supply a photo. But consistent research has led me to believe this group of options is hard to find. Basically, try and find a six speed with the switch panel to the left of the steering wheel full. But I am diligent, and I WILL find one. It will be mine...oh yes...it will be mine. Wayne's world? Anyone?

    Other rookie questions:

How useful is the outlet in the bed? What I mean is what are some examples of items it has the capacity to power, and for how long?

Diff lock- option specific to any particular trim? Does it help significantly in sticky situations?

Access cab rear Windows: fixed, or pop out? Roll down? I didn't see a switch...

Recent research update. What I'm looking for is a 6 speed 3rd gen trd off road 4 door. Rare as a dragon's tooth and PRICEY...but cool as hell. Cheapest I've found is 20 grand with 80k. The hunt continues.
