Hi Guys, i was wondering if anyone experienced this extreme leakage with their 5100 (rear) on a double cab trd ? I got em on for only 2 years, but doing a lot of washboard road. I had a 1.5 inches lift on the rear, a block + an custom leaf added. I might try to get a replacements under warranty, but i will not put it back on the truck since i got it replaced by Rancho 2.5 Inch Primary Lift Kit with RS9000XL Shocks.

Sounds to me you are running way to much lift in the rear. Those particular 5100's are only good for about 1.5" of lift. Constant topping out will damage the shock real quick. Causing the leak...

That is what i thought, but that's about what i was having (1 inche block + a left added under the main one i think). I might have been too close to the upper limit of the shock.

i am going to bet they will not warranty that as it looks abused. I will also say that those boots do more harm then good as they just trap crap inside them and take out seals.
and you might be disappointed in the rancho 9ks. they have been some of the worst shocks i have bought ever. could get them to fade in just a few min on washboard roads.
