I happened to stumble on this video today and found it quite interesting. I was considering an opt7 or auxbeam setup in the future, but probably not anymore....enjoy

I know, right. They're a little to expensive for me though. I think the nineo strikes the best balance of price/ performance.

I'm thinking I may try these though.

If i had $200 laying around, i would. Those same guys did a demo video on YouTube about their 99000 lumen tundra. The majority of the video is about the light bars they used, but still very impressive output.

Old thread but I wanted to chime in for others who are looking for lights. (This is an observation on the Video that is posted on Youtube.)
I have experience with the OPT7 bulbs in my 2016 4Runner and they are great for the price. I did how ever have the same issue as in the video comparison. BUT!!
The pair of OPT7 bulbs I got, one had a really nice cutoff top line to the light, like decent projectors. The other bulb was like the one in the video. No top line just sort of blurred out light.

What I found is that the OPT7 mounting ring can be rotated. The mounting ring can be moved so the LED's can be in the correct position (3 o'clock and 9 o'clock). Once I rotated my (Bad) blub they actually had a good top line to the beams.

The fact that the person doing this video did not know about the orientation of the LED's in the housing makes a huge difference on beam pattern is troubling!
(I'm betting his example OPT7 Bulb the LED's were positioned at 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock) That's why his example beam pattern looked like crap!
Maybe they did it intentionally to discredit the competition? Who knows?

But I just wanted to chime in and give my 2 pennies on OPT7 replacement lights. If your LED's that you choose doesn't have a nice cut off top line? Maybe your problem is the orientation of the LED's in the housing.
    Something to consider?

    Good Luck!
    Happy Modding!
