I must have missed this previously. May I ask what this mod is exactly?

Finally completed my sound deadening project. After doing the doors, floor, and rear wall I finally reached the final frontier. I used the excellent write up on how to remove your headliner by @GHOST SHIP for 2nd gen Tacos and it was very similiar except for the rear seat grab handles and clothes hangers. After completing the entire mod one of the last things I did was to reinstall the rear grab handles and of course one of the spring clips decided to fall into the headliner. I had to waste almost an hour taking down the headliner on the drivers side just to get to that spring clip. I put Dynamat on almost all of the exposed roof and then some scraps on the cross members which were acoustically separated from the roof. Finally, I put 2 rolls of Frost King closed cell foam which gave complete coverage with double coverage over most of the roof. It does get hot here in Florida. Definitely looking forward to having both noise and heat reductions.IMG_0306.jpg IMG_0310.jpg IMG_0311.jpg

The first rain storm you get will weird you out. You'll hear what sounds like tiny hail or sand on your windows, but it's just the rain drops that are normally drowned out by the sound of them hitting the roof.

Awesome addition. I love Dobermans. Had them growing up and they were the best dogs ever... but the wife doesn't like them... ;)

No, I avoided doing install this time. Sorry can't give you helpful advice on this one. It is pretty tight in there, though. Good luck with the weekend project!

A little before and after. Got my 5100's with 888's put on the front today and a 1" block on the back. I'm gonna do the AAL later. I also added the Nitto ridge grapplers 285/70/17's on fuel hostage wheels. Love it so far!image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

Debadged and 20% tint all around, which equates to about 10% on the back and rear sides since it's on top of the 30% factory dyed glass.
