Why not switch the plug or find a different outlet?

Fridges or freezers in a garage can be problematic unless the garage is climate controlled. Makes them work too hard in extreme heat or cold, they will likely fail for one reason or another sooner than later. Ymmv.

that's the only feasible place I can put it right now. I'd love to move it into the house, but theres no room right now until the roomates move out. I would MUCH rather keep it in the house.

I'm hoping this never happens to us. I just got my grandparents chest freezer about a month or so ago after my grandma past away. The only place that we had to put it is in our storage building outside. I'm hoping that it doesn't get too cold or too hot in there to make the freezer quit working or trip the breaker. The previous owner had a window A/C unit in there which is in there now and works so I'm not sure if I should run that during the summer at a low setting just to keep the building cooler. Also, where would I find a thermometer that has a pretty loud alarm that could be placed in the freezer?

I found a freezer in the woods and it was just far enough off the atv trail I could smell something rotting, I was a little scared to go look in it. I thought for sure there was a dead body in it. But apparently someones old freezer gave out with about half of it full of wild game meat...still irritates me they dumped a freezer out in the woods.

People are f'n idiots and lazy. Most of the shit I find dumped out and about could usually be disposed of for free or even for a little monetary compensation.

The best is when you catch someone doing it and make them load it back up.

Yeah no kidding. We dont have trash picked up at our driveway so we have a dumpster down the road. This winter it had 4-5 different appliances next to it...I realize its a dumpster but its not a dump site.. now theres 2 old mattress there and a pile of what looks to be an old metal shed. Soon as it quits raining Im lighting the mattress on fire.

I thought I shared the link here :anonymous:
Went to Weber website. They have free samples if you just fill out your name and adresss etc. no purchase required. I think it's over now though

I've been buying the big bags of Weber charcoal at Home Depot. It's a premium charcoal that seems to burn hotter than other charcoal I've used which I like. Adds a good flavor, my only complaint is it's $20 a bag. I'll prob go back to what I was using because it's just to expensive. Its good stuff but not $20 a bag good. I grill and smoke way to much to keep paying those prices.

    You're a brick sniffer.

I need to pick up some pellets for this weekend. Having some friends over and we WILL be doing fatties this weekend. I'm thinking about actually doing 1 or 2 without bacon on them, all the bacon I have left is thick cut smoked bacon and it doesn't work well for this. Either that or I have to go buy more.
