I have a little dilemma at work atm. I have a window that is mounted in the steel siding. I am unfamiliar with how this should properly be done. Current, it was leaking like crazy from the top when rain was pushing in. We want to mount an AC unit in it so it is time to get it fixed. the wood they used as flashing or trim is just about junk. I took out one whole side just by hitting it with my large screwdriver. My question is, how to properly fix this? the only thing holding the window in is the screws on the bottom of the frame going through board into a board mounted in the siding, unsure on the top but it must be screwed in there as well. Hopefully someone more knowledge(ahem OZ-T) can figure this out and help me a bit. Lol
