    So long story short, My Tacoma got its frame replaced back in the end of 2011. Over time I have found things "wrong" and fixed them. I have this undiagnosed loose feeling in the steering wheel when I hit cracks in the road espeically in a turn. Its hard to pinpoint exactly. The steering itself feels tight and the truck drives straight. If I hit larger bumps everything feels fine with no issue. Expansion gaps in the interstate bridges on a turn are the worse... Some times the entire truck moves a bit like bump steer(possibly a secondary issue)..... Anyway I've had a couple of dealers look at it and they say "that is weird" but have no clue.

    Things I have fixed: The drivers strut had the upper washers/bushing installed in the wrong order and wallowed out the top hat. The top washer and bushing were at least a 1/2 inch away from the top hat.... I replaced the bushings/washers and top hat . Made sure everything was torqued. The three bolts holding the strut to the frame on the passenger side were finger tight, the most inboard one was all the way at the top of the threads. I kinda feel like I should take that side apart too but there is no visual problem like there was on the drivers side.

    I've checked ball joints and tie rods. No more noticeable loose bolts. Steering rack feels solid and is tight. Its statically mounted to the frame so I don't see this being the issue.... There is a bit of looseness in the steering shaft/firewall interface. I've done the zip tie mod and it didn't have any affect.

    TLDR;
    I need someone to figure out a looseness in my front end in my suspension/steering. So who is THE tacoma suspension/Steering expert in the Denver area.... I want an individual name not an entire shop.. I want the one person who knows these trucks inside and out.

    Should there be a gap between the bushing and the washer?

    Looks fine? I wonder if there is a bearing at the firewall?

    Drivers side, three bolts were tight but top hat was worn out from incorrect bushing washer order. I replaced the top hat, bushings and washer...

    Passenger side, looks correct but the three nuts were finger tight...
