I just installed a Tacoma Pro coils and shocks thinking I would get 1.75" of lift. But for some reason I got zero lift. Does anyone make a top spacer that will give me an 1.5" to 1.75"? I hate to invest in another set of springs.

That's odd because I went through 2 pages of google search and can only find 1/2, 2, 2.5 and 3. There is a 1" spring seat spacer but I would rather have a top spacer.

You could stack a 1/2" and 1/4" top plate spacer. 3/4" of spacer will provide appx 1.5" of lift. I would just do 1/2" and live with some rake personally. Not entirely sure that would prevent any issues with stock struts though.

Spacing your struts lower will allow for more droop which could cause binding with joints and uca to coil spring contact. They can also break or bend strut shafts if they are compressing too far and bottoming out before reaching the bump stops.

    Good luck.

    Thanks 3rob3

Will 2005-2015 Tacoma top spacers also fit the Pro suspension?

Also, do these top spacers just fit on top or do you have to remove the coil springs to install?

They fit on top, you don't need to remove or compress the coil. You will need to cut down the 3 strut mount bolts though since they are just a bit too tall for the 3/4" spacer.

Something that may aid in your search-The thickness of the actual top plate multiply by 2 is about how much lift you get. 1" spacer = about 2" lift. You can see my lift link for my opinion on the top plate.

So will a top spacer for a 2013 Tacoma Sport also work with the Tacoma Pro suspension?

Yes. Depending on spacer size you may need to purchase longer bolts also.

If your not doing extreme offroading you'll be fine with that little of a spacer. You can always unscrew the bump stop and add a few washers so the shock does not bottom out.

    Side note my 1 5/8" spacer gave a 2 3/4" lift.

Please define extreme off-roading? I have a 1.5" aluminum spacer on rear, and RevTex rubber spacer up front. I hate them, ride quality reminds me of my old square nosed Dodge. Was on when I bought it. I have upgraded to 5100s up front. I also did the factory rear leaf spring recall, which I'm pretty sure dropped my taco lower in the rear...? Pretty expensive to get a "real" lifted suspension isn't it?
