    Hi,
New member so apologies up front if I'm doing something stupid in the wrong forum, etc. I take abuse well, so flame away if you feel the need ;).

I've got 2 sons and now 2 tacos, an '05 2.7L access cab that we put a Fat Bob's lift on (have some good stories about that one..) and an '06 prerunner. Boys love them and we've been having fun working on them even though I'm no mechanic.

Anyway - the 05's tailgate won't open and pretty sure we need to replace the latch mechanism on the tailgate that attaches to the truck bed. Having way more difficulty finding that part online than I feel like I should.

Can anyone point me to some sort of part catalog or something where I can find the part number that I'm looking for. I know I can go to the dealer, but would prefer to find, research and replace on my own with my boys rather than taking it in to the shop. Any advice, direction, etc is appreciated.
    Ray

I love the concept. Too many people have them fail after a very short time though.

Awesome thanks Matt, the parts list was what I needed. I need the lock assembly for the right (passenger) side.
