Best bolt on rock slider

What you quoted above is how all of our kick out sliders are made.

 

These two sliders look a bit different in how the kick out is welded on. I'm wanting it to be more like the above photo. Is that a possibility?

 

They are completely the same the one above is a FJ slider so it's shorter.

 

Ordered a set from Mobtown and can't wait to get them on!

motorcycle jack? I should have thought of that I have one and it would have made the install hella easier.... sliders don't look heavy in pic's until you are lying on your back trying to get them in place...

Hey! those are pretty impressive ideas. Like your work. They do look pretty tucked in there though, how long are the 2x2's that connect from the frame plates to the main bar? Looks almost like it is flush with the body seam.

Also, @JLee's have 4 connections and gussets while yours have the three and the end gusset. Are you missing something or is Jlee's over kill? What do you guys think?

 

Hey! anyone pre treat the frame for rust before putting the sliders on or did you just slap em on there?

 

Ours has 4 legs from the chassis attachment plate out to the square tube the runs the length of the pinch seam. The regular cab has three, but the DCSB and DCLB has 4.

 

@Mobtown Offroad Any suggestions on frame treatment before install? or wipe the dirt off and go?

Works great installing winch bumpers also.

 

There is nothing wrong with these gussets. You have to take the application of the fabrication into account. Omar can suck it.

 

Was sick of snow n cold, so back home to TX is where I belong.

Just realized, @RelentlessFab , Are these washers bare or were they coated with something? Otherwise i'm going to have to take em off and paint them or something. what do you guys think?
