Has anybody used other brand led pods besides the Baja design lights they recommend for their rear bumper?

To be honest, that bumper is made to work with those BD lights, so I don't think many folks try to put anything else in the rear bumper. I would need to know the dimensions of that cutout to be sure but our best bet for something that'll fit in that gap is one or two single flex lights from us on each side, but then you would need to figure out some sort of mounting plate that would cover up those four corner holes in the bumper which is almost more hassle than it is worth. Something like the Rigid SR-M might be worth looking into though if you don't want to run Baja Designs.

Actually, Pelfreybilt used to use Rigid SR-M lights in their bumpers. The change to Baja Designs was quite recent.
