Orange County CAF's: up to no good

@sdsurfer, what are doing Sunday. I may be up for the drive instead of memorial day weekend when all the crazies, tourists, and LEO's are out.

 

Should be around. LMK if you want to come down Sunday. I'll make sure to be around. Too bad you can't do it tomorrow and hang with us at Fiesta Island meet up.

 

Would rather do that than what I have to do, but duty calls

 

Takes 8 hours to get from SD to San Jose, 10 hours when towing a trailer.

 

Anyone here own a 1st gen Tundra?
And hook up/ use a trailer brake controller?

Trying to hook up a Tekonsha brake controller to a 2006 Tundra with factory towing package. Ordered this adapter off Amazon:

I've found the factory harness under the driver kick pannel, but this adapter doesn't fit!
Others have it on newer 2nd gen Tundras and have had no problem.
I'll need to check it on my tacoma tomorrow.

 

I'm heading to work as well. Pretty much working all day. Racking up those OT hours this week. Can't complain.

 

Sitting on my ass debating on if I should take my recycling in. Waiting for wife and kid to get up, by the time they do the day will be held over.

 

LOL I usually take mine in when I get over how much space in my garage it's taking up.

 

I am at that point now with 5 large garbage bags. Lol

Going to finally muster up the motivation to drop the transmission today with many breaks in between. Working under a vehicle is probably my least favorite thing to do.

 

I'm just going to drop it and that is it. Push it in the garage and do some measurements between the two. It's warm today already. Think it's 90 right outside.

Lol what a scam...Nickel and diming fellow members. I remember going to a TW meet and spending $75 on Korean short rib bbq and NOT charging people for food!

Exactly it's for fun and not to try to recope your loses for doing it. Some shady people out there.
