My 3rd Gen is by no means perfect, but it's the only one that offers me a 6MT. So, decision easily made.

Had a 2nd gen Tacoma for 5 years and a few Toyota trucks prior to that. Still enjoy reading and commenting here.

I voted 3rd gen Tacoma because it has a 6MT and I prefer the design over the GM trucks. However neither truck is interesting enough for me to sell my Frontier. Basically, they aren't attracting their target market (mid 20s couple, no kids, offroad/outdoor enthusiasts).

Cheap is relative to your economic perspective. For some 45K isn't that much.

Clearly people are willing to pay the prices or the manufacturers wouldn't be selling any trucks.

so I was interested in the zr2 till i saw the price if you get the zr2 loaded with the diesel it is almost 50K. I paid 33k for my truck. although I would like the diesel it is not worth the extra money for a front locker and some nice shocks.

I seen this lifted Colorado (don't think it was a zr2 tho) in the lowes parking lot. Looked decent from a far. Upon closer inspection it had spacer lift front and rear. Looking underneath it, I could see where the tires were rubbing. As I was trying to snap more pics the lights flashed and the owner spotted me while he was walking to his truck lol
