    @SGTHAWK1971 emailed truckfridges, they said it's still good. just follow the directions on the first page.

    FYI, just placed an order with truckfridge, and they still honored the code. I looked at a bunch of fridges at overland expo this last weekend, and even at full retail price, these were cheaper than most of the other ones out there (and seem to get good reviews). Ordered last night at 11pm, shipping confirmation this morning, set to arrive in 2 days, very impressed so far!

    Were you able to see the truckfridge in person at expo west? Im curious how the inside packs..from any pictures i have seen it looks very walled off and not as open to the top compared to a dometic cfx. I have been debating on this truck fridge in 51 or a dometic 65dz which is $200 more but with the 65dz and a transit cover and wireless monitor your close to snomaster price..then the snomaster comes with all that and is only about $200 more and you get a real dual compartment. Ugh decisions

    I was able to get 60 beers in mine... granted they were the slightly thinner but slightly taller cans, they fit... along with six standard bottles of beer. I removed the basket all together and it worked great.

    I love my portable beer fridge.

    That's practical real world use for sure. I was just testing mine to see how much it'd hold, because you never know when you're gonna be super thirsty.
    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    I looked at the dometic, arb, engel, and snomaster at OX west. Didn't see truckfridge there. My constraint was in height, as I have a tonneau cover on my truck so it has to be less than 17.5" tall. I was actually about to pull trigger on a dometic cfx 35, then a friend turned me on to the truckfridge. For the same height and about $150 less than the dometic (even at the OX show price) I got an extra ~5liters of space.

    Snomaster is pricy and really tall, I wish I could have gotten the stainless outer though, seemed really durable

    ARB is pricy because... well. arb, didn't really seem any better than any other ones,and was consistently just more money without any real advantage over

    Engel was nice, I like the fact that the compressor on the engel is on the side, so the compartment is one big cube shape, a lot of the other ones have a little 'shelf' over the compressor, which from a heat transfer standpoint seems less efficient to me, and I'm not sure if it would make it easier or harder to pack because of the odd shape, but so it goes.

    Dometic has some nice features, seemed reasonable in terms of price. Plastic housing so it's lighter, but probably more prone to damage. Honestly, this was the one that I saw on probably 75% of the builds at OX west (most of the trailers used them in their build), so that helped convince me that it was a good value.

    Truckfridge ended up being the most space for the height, and was $150 cheaper than the dometic with the discount from this thread. Hence, trigger pulled....... (and about half the price of an ARB and less than half the price of a snomaster. I can buy a lot of beer for that...)

    hope that helps a bit.
