The king's are going to give a rough ride set at 3 inches. 2.5"s is suggested as the max by King.

Bilstein/Icon 2" suspension lift with wheelers 5 leaf springs, 7-pin relocate through bumper, bfg KO2s, redline hood struts, immryo mirror relocation, stubby antenna, dipped emblem, heated mirrors, Jason trek cap, led fogs, debadged
There are 10,000 threads on this topic. Those tires require trimming and chopping regardless of lift.

You're gonna have to trim if you want to run 285's, and probably chop the cab mount. The other thing is are you set on going with a 3" lift or will 2.5" be ok? The higher you go the more stress you put on CV's and more drive shaft vibration possibilities. Both kits you linked are very good, but be prepared to have to troubleshoot those problems after installation.
