Let the purchases begin... I was like a kid in a candy store at the local Four Wheel Parts... got a recovery point for the trailer hitch. (And had to add the license plate frame.)

Next - TIRES! Added Cooper Discoverer (the second "-er" is for extra traction) AT3s. Went up in size a smidge to 265/75/r16. Took it to Hungry Valley (north of L.A.) this weekend & had a blast. I was by myself so stayed on the green trails.

PS - my old tires are for sale (Goodyear Wrangler w/ Kevlar, 265/70/r16) if anyone is interested. I can't post in the "For Sale" section until I hit 50 posts.

Next Steps: Want to ditch the tube steps, but my kids use them to climb in & out. Maybe some rock-sliders can serve the same function. Also in the market for a shell so I can pack up for camping adventures... More to come.

Hey Fellahs... I'm down in SoCal. Had to go up to San Jose to find my truck... Dealers down here wanted way over sticker price ($5-10k) for the Pro...

Check out Pelfreybilt (SoCal) or BAMF (Bay) for your fab goods. I have BAMF sliders you can see in my build thread, and Pelfreybilt aluminum IFS and mid skids. Both are great companies.

Hey Nelson - I got online quotes from all the big shell vendors... Then went down to my local shop to discuss... Local guy sold Leer & ARE, so I spec'd both out and ultimately went with the ARE. Prices were all in the $2-2.5K range out the door.

Took the tube steps off, put on CBI Sliders. Got a few scrapes on 'em.

...and I live in Seattle now.

It’s been a while, but here is another update. Got new Eibach TRD Pro springs for my Fox shocks, which added ~1.5 inches in the front. Also added ICON billet UCAs and 285/75r16 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Got another 1.25 inches in height from the tires. Dig the new stance. Front is a little stiffer, but comfortable. Only driven about 50 miles with the new setup, but looks like MPGs may have taken a hit.
