Congrats again, Mike! Herding dogs are a ton of work, but they are damn smart and rewarding once they grow into everything. Keep her mind busy!

Yeah so I've heard, we were interersted in Heelers after @Chux got his first heeler and after @Wheelspinner also had one in the past as well. They seem very active which is perfect for my wife and I, we are so excited to be able to take her on runs and hikes. She is already intelligent as hell, crazy seeing her sit and lay down for a treat with no command at all.

On my second heeler mix. first was Oreo, she was a Lab/Heeler
and now Archer, he's a Corgi/Heeler/unknown mix and they are the smartest, most headstrong dog you will ever know. Both have been the best dogs i have ever had.

Congrats on your new furry friend

Glad to hear so many awesome Heeler stories! I feel like if you are into the kinds of adventures we all are into, Heelers make great companions. Thank you all, I'll definitely get her wheeling with me soon enough!

So it's official, J0hnny 5 is alive! Took it for it's 20 min initial drive last night, did great! Just messed with the belt tension and so far so good.

Also got my blown CB replaced.

Slowly working on some break in now. Going to hopefully take if offroad this weekend and test some low range. I also need to get a new filler plate cause my ghetto old crushed one would fuck up my new @HomerTaco Toywerx grill and no one wants that. :p

How far away are you measuring temps? I know some of those laser thermometers give false readings if not right up next to the object you are trying to get a temp reading on.

Also big thanks to @jubei777 for the thorough write up.

Before at 75mph it would indicate 90 lol Looks like 5mph off at 50 mph, I think will be 6-7 at 75.

    Nice, brotha!

Those are the same error values I'm getting. Still about 9-10% off, but better than it was!

Did it piss some gear lube on you? :p

Alright well hit the Jersey desert today to get some miles on the front diff as well as take Mac on her first wheeling trip. Met up with @sente3 and @Lux too which was pretty sweet. It's very rare I get to wheel with many other first gens lol. I even got to test out the front locker (I really didn't want to till after break in was done) but I needed it and it worked great! Also left he compressor on for extended periods and had no leaks either. Mac did great too, got a little car sick at one point but that's it! Vinyl interior ftw.
