They're thick, almost padded. They stand out a little but they aren't flush with the main tailgate.

    Nice write-up and great info!
I've been planning to pull out my rear seat and rear door liners and put some Rammat back there just to try and lessen the the amount of road noise, probably won't do the ceiling but will do the back seat area and vents.

Used Dupli-Color Truck Bed Coating on the grille. I couldn't believe that we can take these grilles off in less than 30 seconds, hilarious.
Anyway, took the grill off and then the chrome outer ring and the chrome grill itself and separated the two. Used a sanding sponge to rough it up then a much more aggressive sanding sponge that scratched it up pretty good. Then I rubbed the whole thing down with rubbing alcohol before spraying.
Really light first coat and then followed it up with another coat every 5 minutes until the can was gone.
Was pretty soft for the first couple days and can soften a little bit in high heat but it has hardened now and I can't gouge it with my fingernail anymore.

The last pick is the front shot with the hood up and the Redline Tuning QuickLIFT Plus hood struts, those things are great and install was easy.

Just an FYI, I've used 3M adhesive remover on my 2006 & 2016 and it worked perfect.
All the residue for my badges and my bed side decals on both trucks, worked great and did no damage

I got them for $3.08 on eBay. They arrived about a week and a half later. They were super easy to install. Just puncture a hole and then make it wide enough to stretch the rubber around the holders. The hole does not have to look pretty as it will be hidden. Start the hole small and then make it bigger as needed. We'll see how they hold up. I can see them breaking if someone steps on them with their full weight, but I think they would be hard to step on where they're located.

I might have to go from 650 to 700 lb as well. Bumper (aluminum), winch, skids, sliders, group 31 battery, roof rack and soon to be installed RTT... the weight up front is adding up quick! (@JerryTaco)

Oh yeah, 700# springs will be a great addition. I just have the hidden winch mount, warn 10s Platinum, Pelfrey IFS and Mid skid and SDHQ chrome moly sliders.. And the 700's ride absolutely amazing for me.

It is so handy there! I did the same in that spot, but I added a 1/2 piece of wood on the underside of the seat to reinforce the plastic before I screwed into it. I was afraid that without it I would yank the flashlight and the plastic would break.

I also added a Bust A Cap Glass Breaker for the flashlight. A little pricey but if I ever need to use it I won't care.

This weekend got round 4" diameter side steps installed. Along with AVS in channel windows deflectors. Still shopping and researching for a bed cover. Too many decisions.
