Paint Query.

Nevermind after looking further into the search results I found that this is for protection? Could someone confirm that it seems odd that they also have the protective 3M film too?

So I picked up my 2017 TRD OR Tacoma MT on Wednesday last week and thought I did a decent inspection of it (no scratches etc.) but it seems I didn't bend low enough. There seems to be soft (as in when I touch it, it shifts) paint bubbling occurring all over the lower portion of the vehicle. Is this normal? Otherwise, I am thrilled with the vehicle!


I also wanted to say thanks for the great forum I have learned so much from it and was even able to get a great price thanks to the price thread!

*edit: the brown is just dirt (not rust)

 

This is all normal, it's thicker coating on the bottom and some areas also the protective film - you're good to go!
