    Not enough...

My tent came with these on the sides and velcro straps on the outside.

I hate the velcro. Especially with the mattress topper and sleeping bag. I got some pull straps from the CVT summit series for the outside. Will install next time I have the tent off the truck. But for now this is my solution since the velcro ripped off lol.

I found that a ratchet strap fit just fine.

I have the Shasta Summit series on my 6' ARE CX cap. No extra bracing. No issues so far. I have it mounted on a Prinsu rack so the weight is distributed pretty well.

Velcro is the fabric of SATIN! I'm gonna hold back a bit, but I FUCKING HATE VELCRO! It fucking sticks to every-fucking-thing that you don't want it to. THEN, at it's fucking leisure it decides that it's not going to stick where the FUCK it's supposed to. Fuck velcro and the cocksucker that invented it! Ten deep breaths and I'm done now....

Has anyone used this system to lift their RTT with Bedrack?

    I have a total of 195.6 lbs:
    • Bed rack is 65.5 lbs
    • RTT is 93 lbs
    • Double Sleeping Bag is 9.7 lbs
    • Prep Table is 22.1 lbs
    • Under Rack Bracket is 5.3 lbs
Wanted to see if someone has done it. If my math is right, it's possible, but wanted to be sure.

My main concern is the weight. Let me know how the Harkin Hoist works out. Are you installing it yourself?

The same company that did my garage epoxy floors, hanging storage, and shelving is doing it for me. http://www.garagemonkeyz.com/ and yeah, the weight is my concern as well.

Thanks man. I just want something comfortable to bomb around and camp in. I'll probably put 285s and a nice lift on it and call it a day.

That what I thought. I wired in constant power to the cap yesterday so I think I'm going to be good to go.
