Yup. Ranks up there with one of the lamest ( lets get the lawyers rich and penalize the company) lawsuits ever. I've spent some serious coin at Harborfreight, but zero chance I will participate in that witchhunt of a lawsuit.

In confused about both your responses.

I know id never buy that compressor for air tools. Not enough storage capacity.

If you're not running air tools, then what do you have an air compressor for?

Even an inflator is an air tool... [#semantics]

I think the question is about high-CFM tools. I have that particular compressor. It will run an impact wrench and air ratchet easily with medium-heavy use. I wouldn't want to use it with a grinder, nibbler etc. except for small jobs.

    Gotcha.

I took the original question as to was there enough capacity to run the normal air tools.

This will run impacts or air ratchets, but you won't be using those tools for very long.

If you have an F250 with 8 over torqued lugs, you might want to have a six pack handy. You can drink a beer while the tank pressures up again. maybe that's a win? I dunno.

Additionally, that compressor is stupid loud. Any direct drive oil less unit is going to hurt your ears.

The shittiest, splash lubed, belt drive will be better than that unit. The only advantage of that unit is it is easy to store because of the small foot print.

    Just my opinion.

So I was smart enough not to jump into a big project right off the bat with little to no welding experience...its much harder than you see on all the motorcycle/car building shows:welder:.

I decide to work on a small project first. I had a small wooden holder mounted to the side of my truck bed, that held 2 fishing poles. I managed to snap it this winter, so a great excuse to learn how to weld.

My welds are not awesome, and i got good with a grinder but I'm happy with how it came out. By the end I was able to lay down some 1/2 decent looking beads! Now to paint it and mou t it.

I can't visualize how this works. When you get time, can I see it in it home?

Otherwise, I think its a good looking fab job.

You know you have your welding dialed in when you think its a shame that you have to paint the work.

Will do. I need to get some bolts and paid t it up. Hopefully tomarow night.

It is bolted to the side of the bed just above the electric outlet. Forward in the bed is some rubber rings. The tip of the rods are supported by the rubber rings, and the metal will hold up the butts of the rods.

As you gain experience the grinder will be come less and less a vital tool--this one of those "don't ask me how I know" things...

This piece of SHIT leaked ALL of the fluid out while sitting in the case. There seems to be a seal missing for what I assume is the fill port. I've used it 4-5 times.

Just an update on the 1" predator water pump....it works surprisingly well. Ive used it quite a bit since I picked it up. All but one time it fired up on the second or third pull (one time took like 10 pulls). I was also letting it turn itself off by running it out of fuel (which isn't the best idea lol). It spent a couple days running for 8-10 hours and never had any problems. I probably put 40-50 hours total on it so far.

My only complaint is with the hoses. The intake hose works fine. I just wish they offered a longer version instead of having to hook two up (a like 35' would be awesome). The discharge hoses...are just ok. Again wish they had longer lengths but they worked fine chaining together. My complaint is more if you had to run them in anything but a straight line they would tend to "kink" a bit instead of making nice turns. Didn't seem to hinder performance but did have to check the lines upon start up to ensure the water could flow.

As for the wrenches...I ordered a set of SAE and metric online. They arrived and look much nicer than the ones in store.

What I would recommend is also picking up a bottle of jack oil from HF. Costs $5, and my jack was low right out of the box. The manual explains how to fill it properly, and then bleed the system. I did both these right out of the box and have had no issues in the many times I've used it over the last year. I only originally did this because the only negative reviews were about how over time the jack would have trouble holding things up and slowly lower.
