Bestop for 2nd gen Tacoma $150

Hello TW.

I have a bestop for a 2nd gen. I got it on my third gen and has some fitment issues but wanted it anyways. The direction I want to go with my truck has changed and I'm in need of a low profile bedrack now. So I'm in the market for that.

6/10 condition

Rear window has some slight rips in corners.

Canvas has some rips on edges. Still works quite well if you just need some type of cover on the back of your rig. I got this from another local tacoma world member.

I use a tonneau cover right now. How well does the cover keep the bed dry?

 

Since its for a second gen. 9/10 You just have to make sure you lay the weather stripping down correctly. At this point in the bestop's life, its obviously seen much better days thats why its only going for 150.


On my 3rd gen there are some fitment issues since the second gen bed sides are not as thick. Theres only some small gaps on the bed corners towards the back of the truck. The way it sits though.. it will keep everything dry in the bed for the exception of the small gaps in the corners.

 

That's how my tonneau cover is, what little water does come in runs under the bed mat so nothing gets wet. Isn't there a rack that will fit over the bedcover to hold a RTT?

 

Yes there are quite a few. Not sure which one you would want to go with.

At the point of this covers life it's more of a secondary cover. Like you want to cover something for a quick trip but the tonneau cover won't hold everything. So you throw This on for the week.

If you plan to have something on the truck longer I would advise to go with a whole new cover.

 

I tried to ship a bestop, it wasn't cheap.

 

yeah for the price im selling it at. it would only be a steal for local buyers. .. it probably cost just as much to ship lol
