Couldn't pass it up!

 

This set is what brought me out of my dark ages. Great little army builder and cool ship. I had one built from two sets, pilot, copilot, and I think I had 6-8 troop drop section.

 

I've wanted this set for a while. I want more but they command a high price now a days. The new Force Awakens MF brought me back. My wife surprised me with it and it was all down hill from there. It's proven to be an expensive hobby for sure, however I could always make some money back if I ever had to sell. My wife's hobby is nail polish (which is surprising expensive depending age/availability) and fresh water fish tanks. So she does her fair share of spending. I just look forward to the day we have room to showcase my collection. I'll just keep stock piling till then.

So it's been a typical lazy Sunday. I took some time to build the General Grievous and Darth Vader figures. Holy hell General Grievous is amazing. If you are a Star Wars/Lego fan and haven't bought this, do yourself a favor and pick it up before it's too late!

The Stormtrooper is for scale. These guys are huge.

Can't decide which mini fig I like better, tie pilot or the shore trooper

 

That's a sweet set! Do you mind me asking where you bought it? I'd buy two for that price.

 

I've always eyed that General Grievous. You just convinced me to get it next time I see it. So wicked!

Ok, wait, the TIE Striker is $35 at Walmarx? I know they are having a sale, I just picked up Krennics Shuttle for ~$65 and two trooper battle packs...do I need to go back and get the hover tank and striker? Crap.

 

They were all gone 2 days ago at the Walmart here.

 

There were some left but they were $45.
The Striker doesn't have any rare figs and I got the sets that have same figs. Especially the ones I want. If I found it for $35 I'd get it for sure though.

Grabbed the last one at that price. They had the hover tank for ~$21

I wasn't shopping for this set in particular but couldn't pass up the deal, and its the first Rouge One set I have purchased.
