    Hi All,

I'm about to wire in some new rigid D2 lights, and was wondering if I really need a relay. The reason I ask is that I forgot to buy relays, but was looking at the specs of the lights as well as the switches (I'm using Otrattw Contura V switches), and it seems as though everything is well rated to work without them. Any input?

    Thanks in advance!

    John

They pull less than 5 amps, you don't need one really

my rule of thumb is to always us a relay to keep higher amperage wires outside the cabin. shorter runs for the main wires giving them more volts to power the lights.
